Haley Martin

Haley Martin received her undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi, a Masters in Business Administration from William Carey University, and her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law, where she served as student body president. As an attorney and consultant, Haley focuses her efforts on government affairs, business development, project management and legal compliance. Haley oversees the advocacy of a multitude of clients, from small and large businesses to national non-profits. She also leads business development efforts for numerous medium to large client companies. Prior to consulting, Haley worked in Washington, DC and Jackson, MS with various governmental entities.

Before entering the legal, political and governmental arenas, she worked in hospital administration with a focus on public relations, marketing, and governmental affairs. Presently, Haley serves as the owner of The Capitol Group government affairs firm and the Law Offices of Haley S. Martin. Haley is a recipient of the MS Gulf Coast Top 10 Under 40, elected to serve as a delegate to the State Republican Convention and special guest to the National Convention, and a feature in South Mississippi Living Women in Business.

Haley is or has been involved with the Mississippi Barm Assoc., Jackson County Bar Assoc., American Assoc. for Justice, Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Committee, Leadership Gulf Coast, Junior Auxiliary of Ocean Springs and Biloxi, Mississippi College School of Law Annual Fund Scholarship Board, a Mississippi Bar Examination Mentor, Mississippi Gulf Coast Business Council Masters Class, Lighthouse Academy School for Dyslexia Board, and an active Honorary Commander at Keesler Air Force Base.


James “Jimmie” B. Reynolds III

Jimmie is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss he served as Chairman of the ASB Government Affairs Committee, and as an officer in various other campus organizations. Overseas studies include Kings College, London, England, and University Sorbonne, Paris, France.

Jimmie is a seasoned advocate with over 25 years of government affairs experience, beginning by working for U.S. Senator Thad Cochran in Washington, D.C. The Senator placed him on staff for the Senate Government Affairs Committee and later the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies. While in D.C. Jimmie served as President of the Washington, D.C. Ole Miss Alumni Chapter. After working on Capitol Hill, he moved back to Mississippi and was hired by the Mississippi Bar, where he worked for over 20 years as the Director of Government Affairs. Under Jimmie's direction, the Bar saw numerous legislative successes. In this role, he advised the Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court on government affairs matters, as well as lobbying on behalf of the Judiciary. In late 2020 Jimmie established his own consulting firm, Reynolds Capitol Consulting, LLC. The firm offers a full range of government affairs and business development services.


Jon McCormick, JD, CPA

Jon McCormick received his Juris Doctor, Master of Accountancy, and Bachelor of Accountancy all from the University of Mississippi. For the past several years, Jon has been in the Technical Assistance Division of the Office of the State Auditor, under Shad White. There he provided assistance to governing authorities throughout the State of Mississippi on federal, state, and local laws pertaining to correct governmental accounting procedures and the handling of public funds.

Over the past two years, Jon has worked primarily with governing authorities related to the CARES Act and the American Rescue Plan Act funds. Prior to his time at the Auditors Office, Jon served as a financial accountant and internal auditor for Ergon, Inc. Currently,

Jon serves as an attorney and C.P.A. for The Capitol Group, specializing in ARPA administration.


Marian Tue

With over 30 years of experience in the legal field, Marian Tue was trained in California while employed with the prominent firms of Anderson, McPharlin & Conners of Los Angeles and Baker & McKenzie of Burbank, California Respectively. Her love of the legal world has held her interest ever since. She was employed for many years with Oscar Jordan, City Attorney, Ray Mitchell, PA, and Catherine H. Jacobs, all of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She serves as a critical player on our team and oversees the legal and operational aspects of The Capitol Group. She directs the firm's daily operations, assists in managing related business and human resources, and has a vital role on the legal team. Her legal expertise and knowledge is often utilized to keep everyday business flowing effortlessly.


When not working, Ms. Tue is very active in her family life, which includes 3 children and 8 grandchildren whom she loves spending quality time with as they travel and experience new horizons.
